December Midway session
By: Brian Hinckley

-So Robert emailed me his bike check, and along with his bike check are a bunch of random questions he wanted me to answer and post up here as a mini interview.... yeah.

So here it is! the Brian Hinckley interview in all its glory!!!

how does it feel to be apart of bmx these days??
- pretty sweet! There are a lot of good things going on in bmx right now and im glad to be a part of it!

what are some things you wish were different?
-
Less stupid shit talking, more fun-having. More fun jams. More feeble grinds on unwaxed concrete.

who are some of your favorite riders and who influences you to do the things you do on a bike.
- Well my favorite rider would have to be Dave Young. Nowhere Fast was the first bmx vid I saw and his part in there is timeless. But my riding is mostly influenced by the people I ride with on a daily basis.

about what percentage of people do you think like your hair.
- 0%. I don't even like it.

what do you think about bowlegged tricks?
- I think they are sweet. A clicked bowlegged X-up should be required in any X-Games run.

icecream?
- I hear blue moon turns your poop green... I don't get it. But once i had Birthday cake ice cream and that was pretty rad.

when you start walking anywhere what foot do you start out with?
- Maybe my right? I'm not sure...

what are some of your favorite tricks? any you do or any that someone else does?
- I like doing tables, t-bogs, and any kind of grind. I like watching Chris Goetz do bar spins, maily because I can remember him trying them for the longest time and now he can throw them whenever he wants, I like watching people progress. Also when Robert does that lipslide crank bong thing... yeah thats cool. And 360 turndowns are pretty cool looking. Everyone does their own thing that looks good, I could go on forever really...

who would you like to not thank?
- Wisconsin weather

who would you like to thank?
- Robert, and anyone that thinks DEA is pretty cool, i appreciate it, really.

....and now some photos.

Here I am working on my Ryan Prellwitz riding face.
